Structured products will not normally be considered suitable for listing if they are issued directly or indirectly by a controlling shareholder of or a person who, in the opinion of the Exchange, has effective management control of the company or any of the companies whose securities underlie the structured products. A financial institution whose business includes issuing structured products may be permitted to list on the Exchange structured products where the underlying security is or includes securities of that financial institution or members of its group.
